That one definitely doesn’t have AWD if it’s a manual.

Not only did it get a manual, but it is a pretty decent one. Yeah, they are FWD-only, but they are a hoot to drive. The 1.6T is a great engine, and the Juke platform is surprisingly tossable. Why it took Nissan so long to finally put the 1.6T in another car is beyond me (it is just now available in the Sentra). For the price, I think these are a great deal. Personally, I love the looks, though I know they aren’t for everyone. I very nearly bought an SV manual brand new, but I just needed something bigger - they are pretty cramped inside if you actually need to use the back seat. It is more of a coupe with vestigial rear doors than a proper 5-door. Cargo area is small too. Best use is probably to just have the rear seats down and think of it as a 2-seater with extra seats for emergencies.

Yeah, but that was long before this. One day, Datsun will be released from prison.

The Nismo is turbo and has a FWD manual option, no?

I nearly bought one with a manual that had been ordered with every box ticked. Leather seats, etc. It was a fun car, but I decided I didn’t want to be one of those crossover buying assholes.

No, you could get the turbo with a stick if you wanted.

I so wanted a AWD manual juke with or without the turbo.

I hear you. That would be much better. But, I drove a stick turbo Juke and still enjoyed it. I didn’t buy it, but I liked it.

i just wanted a awd manual so much that I stopped caring for the Juke.
just like the Kia Soul. That too should be had as a AWD manual

I would actually consider it...
It’s hardly a crossover - not much bigger than a modern hatchback. Basically just a lifted large-ish hatch. I’d contend that with with slightly smaller wheels and lowered a few inches, the Juke could actually be a pretty cool car.
The Nismo is already lowered actually and it’s motor is supposed to be pretty decent from what I hear. Plus they weigh less than 3000 lbs. Overall, I think it could be a solid normal car.
Sure it’s FWD, but so is my Mini and most other hatchbacks out there.
I feel like the Nismo may be one of the better hatchbacks(/almost hot hatch?) in the US and now I’m curious how it’s been critiqued by the auto mags and sites...

as a former awd manual sx4 owner, the juke would of been the perfect replacement for when I crashed it. I know that FWD is perfect for most drivers, but after driving FWD cars for 15 years in northern Canada Awd just made it easier.
